Universal Dock - MIP116
1. The sound from my Hifi when connected to the MIP116 Universal Dock is very low.
Please ensure the ‘Sound Check’ option is switched OFF from the Setting menu within the iPod. If this is switched ON the audio output through the dock connector will be very low.
The MIP116 starts up at 30% of its maximum volume, this feature was designed to exercise some method of speaker and amplifier protection, unfortunately there is no method of changing this start up volume.
2. The video outputs on the MIP116 Universal Dock do not work with my iPod classic / iPod nano 3G?
Unfortunately you may encounter some compatibility problems when trying to use the extended functions of the remote control and the video outputs when using the MIP116 with the latest iPod classic, however please note that the MIP116 was released quite some time before the launch of the latest iPod classic
